Thurrock Heritage

Tilbury Fort | Thurrock | Essex | north bank of the River Thames

Thurrock has an incredible history as the crossroads of history and life. There was a Pilgrims Trail at Tilbury, Queen Elizabeth I rallied her troops at Tilbury Fort against the Armada, and the Port of Tilbury was a key access point for people from the Commonwealth.
